I am a queer transgender woman, and I am currently crowdfunding my new feature film, What Color is Blue, which is about a relationship between a trans woman and her non-binary partner navigating the radical queer scenes in Philadelphia.
We are raising money to pay for the cast and crew of the film, the majority of which will be women, lgbtq folks, and people of color.
This film is near and dear to my heart, and having the opportunity, as a trans woman, to make a movie about trans women, starring trans women, and for trans women and other queer and GNC folks is extremely important to me.
I have already been working on this film for nearly a year, all during my free time out side of work, and would appreciate the support from my friends and colleagues on here.
If you can donate to the film that is great, if you can’t, please still click follow on the crowdfunding page, (once we reach 500 followers we gain access to filmmaking resources to help shoot the film)
And please please please, reblog and like. Thank you so much.
Hi I’m a trans woman and I desperately need to move out of north carolina. I want to go to Washington but I’m not sure which city to pick. I’m considering olympia. I’m having trouble w the trans and antifascist networking I’d need to find people to live with and stuff.
Could someone who lives/lived in the area and knows the scene help me out? Please I’m in a lot of danger doing basic things in NC and I want to move somewhere with community and not die
And for the moments the boys on set, with their silly crushes, became tiresome, Brown could turn to Winona Ryder. “I would just go to her like, ‘Ugh, the boys are getting on my nerves today!’ And she’d be like, ‘Got it — come sit.’ And we’d eat cheese.“
